The Good News About Having a Stash....

Here is my justification for my recent transgressions....if I were to, God forbid, lose my job, I would not want for yarn. When I retire, I will not want for yarn.

All that said, I have had more slips in the past month or so. I had been lusting after some yarn dyed by the Knitman's Kitchen, Colin, called Hidden Tiger. He hasn't make any more recently, but I still check out his site looking for it. Well, what did I see but some gorgeous green, purple, yellow yarn called Hopskotch. I had to have it. His sock yarn is very fine, and this came over from England rapidly. It is very pretty. Of course, a week later, I saw some Destination Yarn called Cleveland spring that is green and purple, a color combo I have been wanting for some time, but I could not justify buying more, since the yarn from Colin was close to it.

To top this off, I was browsing on Knit Picks the other night and I am a sucker for kits. I bought a purse kit, not even thinking that it came with YARN which I am not supposed to be buying. My next challenge will be to hold off when I go on a Yarn Shop Hop with my knitting group later this month. I may have to cut myself some slack for that trip, maybe I can convince myself that I won't buy any in May.

That's all for now. I have really not been doing very well with this. Note I haven't posted in a while since I didn't want to admit all of this.
